I barely survived the last week and a half by the skin of my teeth.
So last week I worked four days at the school. which doesn’t sound like much but when I work four shifts after those four days… ITS A FREAKING LOT. But motto is, better busy than bored. And let me tell you, I was far from bored.
I was able to work my restaurants Halloween party which kept me until three a.m., YES PEOPLE, THREE A.M. I was able to make sometime for myself this week, after skipping out last week.
Church, my mini vacation. The sermon this week was to keep pushing on, just keep going. After the week I just had I needed that message. Sometimes, I just get so exhausted and overworked I wonder what good it will ever do me. I am waiting and waiting for a job that may never come. (different story for a different day) So here’s my mini recap of the week, JUST KEEP SWIMMING, JUST KEEP SWIMMING. You got this!
Monday was finally a day for me to catch up on sleep, and social life. I met up with my friend JB* and went to our BELOVED Target and a little out of our comfort zone, Home Depot.
We as the basic white girls we are, had NO idea what we were doing and looking for. We kinda just winged it and hoped for the best. We left with everything we set out for. But who knew you can cut your own wood at Home Depot!
Target’s dollar section KILLS me E.V.E.R.Y.T.I.M.E. They started putting the dollar Christmas section up and I bought quite a bit, mostly for crafting though, so its okay… right?
Then JB and I set out to start our crafts. I made this super cute little snow globe, some “rustic” painted mason jars, and a painting for my boyfriend with a quote from his favorite movie.
I ended my Halloween with the cutest lamb I know, Miss A-Mae*
