Hard Decisions

So moral of this long story, focus on you. Sometimes things just aren't meant to be and it is what it is. Enjoy where you are and enjoy the journey. Its not the destination, its the journey. 

Decking the friggen halls…

I can only hope that those families that maybe can't afford to go all out, or whose parents can't get the day off, or those who can barely afford to put dinner on the table each night, find the peace and happiness that the TRUE Christmas spirit is about. I'm lucky and spoiled to have had such the positive experiences with holidays that I have had. Sometimes, we all need a humble reminder.

Looking For a Friend

I had forgotten to take care of me. I forgot to put me first, even for only an hour a week. I saw the girls faces in the photo, calm, at peace, happy, knowing that no matter what they are loved, not only by their parents, but by the congregation as well.
